Building Envelopement
Building envelopment is the first step in exterior finishing. Products, such as Tyvek and Blueskin, are used as a water/vapour barrier.
This protects the foundation, and structural framing from the elements by regulating moisture flow from inside out, or from outside in at the molecular level. Simply put, it keeps the moist air outside.
